Anyone has tofu for breakfast?

im getting concerned about my growing belly lol. i have to cut carbs.

if it could be cooked to achieve somewhat plain-ish but still palatable taste....Anyone has tofu for breakfast?
I've cubed up tofu and stir fried it with vegetables and eggs to make scrambled eggs. You could also stir fry it and add it into an omelette.

Another thing you can do, which is delicious and super healthy, is get a box of silken tofu and puree it in a blender with any fruits (bananas, berries, etc), a spoon of fruit jam, and a splash of OJ for a smoothie.

You could also puree the silken tofu in a blender with a couple of tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa and add half a banana for a choco-banana pudding.Anyone has tofu for breakfast?
While I don't eat tofu anymore, I used to eat it mixed with something called tofu scramble. It's just a pouch with seasonings and you mash your tofu up to resemble scrambled eggs. They aren't spicy but add enough punch to make it pleasant!
Tofu has a fairly high carbohydrate content, so someone trying to cut carbs, shouldn't be switching over to tofu! just think of it this way, its main ingredient is beans, which is fairly high carb/calorie rich food
I usually mash it up with a fork and cook it will a little mustard seed, nurtional yeast, cumin, paprika garlic and onions in a pan. (I don't use any oils when doing so, I usuall prime the spices and deglasd the pan with a little water)

Look of scrambled tofu recipes.

You can also marinate it overnight and bake it. Come morning.

Just press the excess water out, slice and marinate it in whatever you want. Bake at 350 until golden.
Some people do. Scrambled tofu is a good alternative to eggs, for vegans and people who are allergic to eggs or just like tofu. Some people also make tofu burritos for breakfast.

I don't eat tofu for breakfast, but I sometimes make it for dinner, or I order it at the chinese restaurant.

In my opinion, it is better to eat tofu from a chinese restaurant, before you make it yourself. A lot of times, people make tofu incorrectly, and then they never decide to eat it again.

To make tofu, you have to first drain all of the water out of the package.

Then, you cut the tofu into thin slices or small cubes(whatever you prefer).

Next, you gently pat the tofu with a towel. This will help remove some of the water that's still in the tofu.

Finally, you create a sauce or seasoning for the tofu, and you fry it in the sauce. Or, if you don't want to fry it, you could bake the tofu in the oven and add the sauce or seasoning, afterward. If you don't want to add a sauce or seasoning, you could eat it in a wrap with whatever vegetables you like.
