Can anybody give me simple recipes for extra firm tofu?Please?

So i'm very new to being a vegan.(vegetarian for 5 months)I have some tofu in ma fridge.I wanted to try it.I guess just to try something new.Well i dont know how to cook it.On top of the fact that im very low on veggies.I have (all canned) corn,carrots,diced patatoes,and green beans.lol

Can I make anything with it?Can anybody give me simple recipes for extra firm tofu?Please?
You can make a stir fry otu of it.



Cut tofu in cubes

mis it with some gingewr garlic paste.

keep it for an hour (kind of marination with ginger and garlic)

After an hout fry it witha little bit of oil.

Get out the veggies

Heat some oil and fry the veggies.

Add some soy sauce and ginger garlic paste.

put in the tofu and let it cook.

Take out the water with pressure for about 15 minutes, then crumble it into a pan with a little vegetable oil. Let it brown then add taco seasoning or whatever you like and maybe just a little water so its not too dry and let sit for while longer and there are you tacos.

After drained of water cut into fairly thin slices (Nothing too drastic.)

Then add your favorite BBQ, orange juice, and maybe some hot sauce and mix it up. After letting your tofu brown a little on each side add the sauce and let it cook again on low heat. And make sure you check on it alot to see if the BBQ is just about cooked in. Just repeat the process on both sides and wah-lah. A good BBQ sandwich. Served on a bun.
I just read that u can (drain it of course) then cut into cubes, coat with bread crumbs %26amp; bake. then use the cubes in a stir fry...sounds good!
Cut your tofu in strips about 2ins long. Marinate them in a curry or tomato sauce, whichever you prefer. When ready to use stir-fry lightly in a bit of oil then add your other items you mentioned and saute' adding a bit of water to make sauce over it, adding salt and other spices to taste. Another great recipe with your tofu is, prepare tofu as above and marinate in black bean sauce. Dice sweet peppers (different colours), onion, broccoli and cauliflower florets (snow peas or string beans optional). Lightly fry tofu in small amount of oil, when reach desired look, add veggies and continue to stir fry. Add soya sauce to taste and salt as desired. Do not let veggies go soggy.
