How do i store tofu?

i know when it's raw you're supposed to keep it in water. but say i cooked it or prepared it in a dish with leftovers. can i just keep it in the fridge if it's already cooked or do i have to throw it away? How do i store tofu?
Keep it covered in the fridge like you would anything else.

When uncooked, keep it in the water and store it in the fridge or freezer depending on the length of time that you wish to store it before use.

remember, tofu can go bad- if it smells different than usual(for that brand), throw it out.How do i store tofu?
store your cooked tofu dish like any other cooked dish - in the fridge covered.
no you can do that, but try to eat it within two days. If you want to store it longer, stick it in the freezer.

you are right about keeping it in water when it is not with other food ;-)
Paul Ding's answer is hysterical! LOL

But actually, I like tofu, and it is no problem to keep it in the fridge for a few days after cooking. But best to keep it covered or it will go bad faster and will absorb the smell of anything else in the fridge.
store in in the refrirator
When tofu is not cooked, keep it in fresh water in the refrigerator.

When tofu is cooked, keep it in the refrigerator.

Tofu is probably less then $1.50. It's cheap enough that if it looks bad, you can toss it away.
I keep mine in the trash can
Keeping tofu in the refrigerator is a bad idea; someone might think it's food.

It's best kept in a galvanized steel can, out in the alley behind the garage.
