Important to add I hardly ever cook and I don't have much time to exercise. I have a very busy lifestyle. What are the best foods to eat that'll fill me up, are easy to make, and will help me lose weight?
If I try to eat mainly fresh fruits and vegetables along with veggie burgers, salads, and maybe a tofu dish will that help? How can a vegetarian woman lose weight?
Eating more of fresh fruits and vegetables will help. Tofu is good source of protein. Veggie burger and salads are ok. High fiber and low-fat food (e.g., oatmeal and skim milk) is good for breakfast. Don't skip meals, especially, breakfast. Skipping breakfast would slow down body metabolism and can make you gain weight. Any physical activity like walking, doing household chores etc. burns calories so, that would substitute for lack of exercise.

Yes!!!!! As much as vegitarians can loose wieght in the beginning they tend to become lazy(im guilty) and stick to breads, cheese sandwich, pasta, pizza, etc.
So yes fruits and veggies will help. If you need a quick weight loss you need to get rid of the fruits as well. To many natural sugars, and stick to veggies, beans, and tofu if u like but Im not a fan, veggie burgers are nice but you dont want the bread at all.

Some other tips
With it's emphasis on fruits and vegetables and grains, it can be a lot easier to lose weight on a vegetarian diet than on a non-vegetarian diet.
After all, they naturally have less calories than an equivalent amount of meat, and all that extra fiber makes for a very full tummy.
So whether you are a vegetarian or not, following at least somewhat of a vegetarian diet is bound to help you drop a few pounds.
And I've got the vegetarian tips to help you do just that.
Lose weight the vegetarian way
Eat your veggies, first. The second best plan is to start every meal with a salad. This helps fill the tummy. The first best plan is to make the salad the meal! Only don鈥檛 spoil it all with a fatty dressing. Instead, try a splash of balsamic vinegar. It what I use.
Eat your breakfast. If not, you are more likely to grab any old crappy mid-morning snack out of haste and starvation. Even some bread and a piece of cheese or fruit is better than nothing.
Get rid of temptation. See that bag of potato chips in the cupboard? The chocolate baking chips (and who, I ask you, in a fit of chocolate-deprived panic, has not reached for baking ingredients?). And so on. Into the garbage with them all, I say.
You need to move. Thirty - 60 minutes a day, assuming your doctor okay's it, is great. Especially if you haven鈥檛 been doing any physical activity already. Two tips for success here: Make it fun and do it with a friend. Both will encourage you to move again and again.
Variety is your friend. It is good for you (gives you lots of different nutrients) and it is satisfying (far more interesting than a steady diet of, say, celery).
Watch those portion sizes. You don't have to worry too, too much if all you eat is salad. But, let face it, you are bound to eat something else. And even good things are only good in moderation.
Watch out for the fat vegetarian downfall. I mean nuts and oils and honey and olives and so on. Sure, they are healthy. But they are also really high in calories. Cut them down or cut them out.
Don鈥檛 kill yourself if you fall off the bandwagon. It happens. Just get right back on. Remember, you are in this for the long-haul. One meal or one day is not, really, going to make a difference
Aim to change your life-long eating habits. You don't want to keep dieting, so try to change the way you eat so you eat more of the healthy, low calorie foods 鈥?fruits and vegetables and grains 鈥?and less of the unhealthy or high calorie foods (and you know what those are!), always. Remember you want to be thin and healthy for life.
While I am unable to answer your question directly, I know that the fact alone of being vegitarian contributes to losing weight.
Your best way to lose weight would be to go vegan!
By going veg, I lost a little weight, but when I later went vegan I instantly lost a larger amount of weight in a short amount of time with no additional effort.
You'll lose weight faster, feel better, become healthier, and no longer contribute to the industries that enslave and torture animals used for the food industry, or the decline of our environment.

I agree with SammiChan. Go vegan :) Eliminating dairy products and eggs will definitely help you lose weight. Just make sure you're consuming enough protein in the form of tofu, soy products, beans, lentils, fortified cereals, breads etc
Good luck!
Everyone's forgetting the most efficient way to lose weight!
Excercise!!
You can eat all the healthiest things on the world but if you're sitting stationary all day, all those thigns you ate will just sit there and either be pooped out or absorbed and turned from sugar to fat (stored energy) because you're not using any!
You HAVE to get up and go for a walk, go for a run, find a good and easy way for you to burn those calories that you take in. It's one of the simplest equations of burn more calories than you take in to lose weight, I can't think of a more simpler way to put it. If you're eating vegetarian already, then you're on the best track so far.
If you cut out the milks and cheeses any other processed foods you'd be on an even better track. Eating fruits will give you energy in the morning but if you have been told to stay away from them, don't eat them past noon. You need that energy for the day and the best time to eat a lot of energy is in the morning. Veggies and rice will definately fill you up and rice is a great way to feel full.
