I bought some firm tofu this weekend, but have NO idea how to cook, so any recipe/cooking suggestions are welcome.
I guess i could sautee it with veggies, but how do I give it flavor? What sauces or spices?Tofu is so good for you, but to me it tastes terrible. How can I make it more palatable?

you should fry the tofu first. use extra firm tofu. cut it into smaller pieces then fry them until golden brown. you can then use the fried tofu in a stir-fry with bean sprouts, broccoli, water chestnuts, and soy sauce.
or you can serve the fried tofu with sweet %26amp; sour sauce seperately.
when i used to be very healthy i used to always eat tofu .this is how i made it i put it in a pan a little oil cut onions pepper scallions garlic and saute it in the pan and sprinkle a little salt and pepper and other seasonings u like and it is very delish hope this helps
Cube it %26amp; sautee it in a pan with some soy sauce OR some bottled teriyaki sauce, bottled sweet %26amp; sour sauce, etc. Then sautee some Asian vegetables (available already cut up in a bag in your frozen section) with it. Serve with either rice or noodles.

Ever had sweet and sour soup? Get you a bowl and it will give you a idea. Once you cook it, it really shouldn't have much taste other than the liquid you cooked it in. Honestly, in soups is the only way I can stand the stuff.
Tofu acts as a sponge %26amp; will absorb anything you cook it WITH. Marinating is always the best way to cook tofu. You can definitely get creative with ingredients, you like garlic...use garlic, you like peppers...use peppers, etc.
If you like spice use some jalapenos, pepper and fresh garlic. I don't like tofu either but if you saturate it enough with these type of things it is tolerable.
Just forget it. No matter what you do it taste terrible. If your on a diet go get a good salad.
Meat is also good for you.
Eat it with some pizza.
