How do I cook Tofu?

My neighbor brought me some tofu (firm) this morning to taste, but I don't know what to do with it. How do you cook it? She said something about making soup of it. Is there other things I can make?How do I cook Tofu?
i also have never tried it, and have no desire. from watching different food shows, you can cook it the same way you cook meat, fry it, put it in soups, i've never seen it broiled, but i've seen it shaped like a turkey, so i guess you can bake it, also diced up in salads, they say it has no taste, but takes on the flavors,of what ever it's cooked with. happy eating.How do I cook Tofu?
Ya I like it cooked in teriaki sauce then put it on top of white rice
