How to cook tofu with microwave?

I wanna make it as tastey as poosible....but im not sure if its good with microwave if possible. thnxHow to cook tofu with microwave?
Sure it is!



Ingredients :

1/2 lb tofu

1 tbl orange juice

1 tbl lemon juice

soy sauce

sesame oil

minced scallions

toasted sesame seeds

Method :

Cut the tofu in half so that you have two flattish rectangles. Then combine the juices and soy sauce in a 9-inch (23-cm) glass pie dish and add the tofu. Let the tofu marinate for about 10 minutes on each side. Then cover with vented plastic wrap and microwave on full power until the tofu is cooked through and fragrant, about 2 1/2 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes before sprinkling with sesame oil, scallions and sesame seeds. Serve warm.

alright first make sure you have the ';firm'; tofu slit it, and marinade it real good, place it int he freezer , let is freeze for about 24 -48 hours. this will make it firm-ER and then microwave for about 45 secs.

Sesame Tofu





Ingredients:

(For jelly)

1 cup water

20 - 25g arrowroot starch + 2 tablespoons water

2 tablespoons pounded sesame seeds



(For sweet miso-flavored sauce)

20g red miso (bean paste)

40g sugar

1 tablespoon mirin

1 tablespoon sake





Dissolve the arrowroot starch in 2 tablespoons of water and stir well so as not to leave any lumps.

Pour the water in a heatproof bowl and boil it in a microwave oven.

Remove the bowl from the microwave oven immediately after the water comes to a boil, and gradually add the starch and water mixture while whisking (in the same manner as thickening sauce).

Add the pounded sesame seeds and stir well.

Scrape the edges of the bowl clean with a rubber spatula and heat the contents in a microwave oven at 500W for approx. 1.5 minutes.

Remove the bowl from the microwave oven and whisk the mixture well. Clean the edges of the bowl and put it back in the microwave. Heat at 500W for 30 seconds.

Again, whisk well and pour the mixture in a rectangular tin mold, then chill until it sets.

(Sauce)

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, whisk and then heat in a microwave oven at 500W for approx. 1.5 minutes.

Remove from the microwave oven, whisk again and allow it to cool.

(Serving)

Remove the Sesame Tofu from the mold and cut into bite-size pieces using a wet knife. Serve on a dish and pour some sauce over it. (Instead of using the sauce, you can place a pinch of grated horseradish on it and pour on some soy sauce.)







Tips:

A microwave oven is useful when you cook thick or sticky food because it will not scorch or stick.

Although it is difficult to prepare a small amount of sauce in a pan without scorching, it can be done easily using a microwave oven.

To ensure that you have ample time to allow the starch to set, adjust the amount prepared according to the length of time available to chill the Sesame Tofu.
Put it on a plate

Put the plate in the microwave.

Turn on the microwave.
put the tofu in the microwave cook on high for 15 to 20 minutes, then take it out and put it in the trash can and take it to the curb as soon as possible.
