Tofu help! Don't know how to prepare it!?

I've tried cooking tofu many times but It always ends up tasting nasty. I know there's ways to prepare it and it'll taste great, but I just don't know what to do with it!

I've dried it, soaked it on soy sauce and then stir fry it and tried marinating it on many other things.. it always ends up nasty.

Can someone give me some tips/recipes to make a tasty tofu?Tofu help! Don't know how to prepare it!?
The way I've done it was I got the tofu (naturally I'm assuming its firm tofu) and wrapped it up in a clean wash towel and sandwiched it between a bowel and a plate. Naturally I put few cans/or a brick on top of the plate and leave it in the fridge over night. By morning it'll be dry.

What you do now is think of an interesting marinade, pineapple juice and soy sauce? Worschishire sauce and some other liquid? It's your call!

But you leave it marinading in the liquid once again, over night (this time with out the plate and brick/cans). Take it out and pat it dry with a paper towel, dredge it in flour and egg, and shallow pan fry.Tofu help! Don't know how to prepare it!?
ULTIMATE TOFU SMOOTHIE

2 cups frozen strawberries

1 tablespoon honey

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 pack Nasoya Silken Tofu

1 cup Silk Very Vanilla Soymilk

1 large banana

12 packets Splenda

Spike w/coconut rum (optional but recommended!)

Place all ingredients into a powerful blender and blend until smooth and creamy!
it might be that you simply don't like tofu....it has a bland flavor and takes on the flavors of other ingredients added.

If you are vegetarian.there are other ways to get your protein.a bean and rice mixture is almost a perfect protein, when you eat salads add nuts.
Here's some that are pretty good.
