How do u cook tofu?

i wanna make tofu (im a new vegan) but i dont know how and what do i put in it but make it easy and with not alot of ingrediants im 15 and sorta stupid in the kitchen and my mom refuses to cook it for meHow do u cook tofu?
Stir-fry veggies and rice with Tofu - I use extra firm, wrap in paper towels to soak up the excess water. Cut in slices, fry in a little olive oil, hot pepper sesame oil and soy sauce. Sprinkle with ginger, garlic, curry, whatever you have in the cupboard. Top with sesame seeds. You can also top it with sliced veggie cheese and serve on toasted sourdough with mustard.How do u cook tofu?
Im the same way except my moms bf will cook for me which im lucky for lol.

depending on what you want to cook, is the way you cook it like in tofu scramble she cuts in up and puts it in a pan.
I'll give you a simple recipe.

Broccoli Tofu Pitas

INGREDIENTS

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 cup fresh broccoli florets

1 cup diced firm tofu

2 tablespoons thousand island dressing

1 pita bread



DIRECTIONS

In a skillet over medium high heat, heat the tablespoon of oil. Fry broccoli in hot oil for 5 minutes, then stir in the tofu. Cook until broccoli is slightly tender, about 3 to 4 more minutes. Remove from heat and toss with the salad dressing.

Cut pita bread in half and stuff each pocket with half of the mixture. Other types of dressing may be used in place of thousand island if desired.
If you like spicy food I would fry it with olive oil cubed and add a bit of onion then add garlc, chili powder and maybe a tad bit of curry.. salt and pepper and you are done.. You can add peppers if you want.. depending on how much cooking you want to do. I fry it until browned on most sides.. You can buy tofu that has already been season and you just warm it up.. or eat it raw.. very good stuff :)
Saute it in soy sauce and add it to anything you want!
Just follow the directions on the package.

You don't have to cook it, you can eat it raw. But if you want to cook it, you could cook it in a skillet just like stir fry. You can also add sauce (soy sauce is the most common).
